Cheltenham Cricket Club Jubilee Party

The Cricket Club will be hosting a “street
party” for ten neighbouring streets. Decorated trestle tables and seating will
be provided for about 12 people per street as a starting contribution for your
party. Families will be encouraged to bring their own food plus additional
tables and chairs. A number of barbecues will be provided for your use and the
bar will be open all day.

Tickets
Tickets will be available from early April from a co-ordinator in each street, priced at £5 per adult, and £2 for children aged 3-12. In the unlikely event of tickets becoming limited, tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
To book your tickets, contact your street co-ordinator before the end of April. Payment in cash is required to secure your order. Tickets will be posted through your letterbox.

Residents can order for friends and family but, please, no more than the number which doubles your normal household.
Charity
We will be raising funds to support the charity "Cheltenham Welcomes Refugees". Any surplus from ticket sales will be donated to this charity

Additional Information
Bar
The bar will be open throughout the day, selling beers, ciders, wine, soft drinks, and wine.
The Cricket Club is generously not charging for the use of its ground and facilities, but will retain proceeds from the bar.
Wet weather plan
In the event of wet weather, visitors can take refuge in the club house or in the exhibition tent.
In the event of a really bad weather forecast for 5th June, we reserve the right to re-schedule the event.
Parking
There will be no parking at the cricket ground during the event. This being a local event, we ask people to arrive on foot.
It will be possible to drop off camping tables, chairs, etc by car before the event and collect them afterwards.

Waste
We ask all visitors to take their rubbish home with them after the event.
Bins / rubbish bags will be provided but this refuse will not be sorted and will go to landfill.
Barbecue facilities
Approximately four large barbecues will be provided. Use is on a first come first served basis. Use of the barbecues will be supervised to ensure that they are used sensibly and responsibly.
Stalls
There will be a number of stalls in the Club House or in a gazebo outside.
These will include:
Tea and Coffee served throughout the event.
A Cake Stall (probably 3 to 5pm)
A Book Stall.
A Local History Stall focussing on the last 120 years in our area
Cheltenham Cricket Club: information on joining and learning to play the game.
A face painting stall.
Cheltenham Volunteer Teachers and helping Refugees.
An Ice Cream stall
Disabled access
The picnic tables, barbecues, bar, and many of the stalls will be on the cricket ground and accessible by wheelchair.
There will be Portaloos at ground level.
Some stalls will be in the club house and accessible only via stairs.
First aid
A first-aider will be on hand for the duration of the event.
