• Proposed Rule changes

Rule 8
The Officers of the club shall consist of the Chairman, the Secretary, the Treasurer, the Cashier, Director of Cricket, 1^st XI Captain, Captain of Women’s Cricket and Safeguarding Officer.

Replace with
      The Officers of the club shall consist of the Chairman, the Secretary and the Treasurer.
 
      
      Rule 13
 
The general management and administration of the Club shall, subject to the control of
the General Meeting, be vested in the General Committee of the Club and in the event of
an equality of votes, the Chairman for the time being of the General Committee shall have
a second or casting vote.
 
Replace with
 
     The general management and administration of the Club shall, subject to the
      control of the General Meeting, be vested in The Officers and the Section Heads,
      to be known as The General Committee.   In the event of an equality of votes, the  
      Chairman shall have a second or casting vote.
 
     Rule 14
 
      The General Committee of the Club shall consist of the Officers of the Club, Life Members   
      and up to 8 other Members or their delegated representatives. The General Committee    
      has the power to appoint advisers to the General Committee as required to fulfil its
      business.  All sub-committee must include a member of the General Committee and will
      report to the General Committee as required.
 
Replace with
 
           Section Heads will appoint sub-Committees to discharge the relevant business
            of the Club and shall be chaired by the relevant Head.    All appointments must
            be approved by the Chairman.
 
 
     Rule 15

     The Officers of the Club and the said 8 other members of the General Committee shall be    
     elected annually at the General Meeting of the Club.

Replace with
     The Officers and Section Heads shall be elected annually at the General Meeting
     of the Club.
